Vista Grande Elementary - We made "launchers" in our STEAM Lab for our "fair".

In addition to our online auction at Bidding Owl, don't forget to come to our Fair this Friday, May 31st at 5pm. We will have additional baskets to bid on during the fair, as well as games to play and prizes to win. Come join the fun. (see our events announcement) Among the many themed baskets (such as Slime, Movie Night, Ice Cream, and more) I am donating one of my crochet projects for the on-site auction.

Another Science Field Day over! I want to congratulate our team for working ON THEIR OWN without significant coaching. There is a HUGE number of schools that win every year, their names are called over and over - because they have a large force of parental volunteers who spend a lot of time training them. These same teams will email the coaches to point out flaws in the event and question scores. I stress to Vista Grande students that the point is that they have fun being involved in science activities. That being said, we had 26 total events we sent students to compete in and had 46% of our team get something. That is OUTSTANDING results!!
