The preparations have been made for Lizzie, our bel...l gifted from Trinity United Methodist that was transferred with a beautiful and spirit-filled bell ceremony on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. Today we had a spirit-filled Ceremony to celebrate the gift of Lizzie, the bell from Trinity United Methodist. What a wonderful morning!!

Bethel AME Church, has been recipient of a community led restoration project. The restoration of our historic building includes our bell tower, steeple, roof a...nd siding of the entire sanctuary. Your gifts have allowed this project to go from a dream to a reality. The group led by Brandon Slater, Pat Conroy, DanKathy Herbert, and Jim O'Bannon, initially envisioned restoration of the front fascia of the building but as the project progressed, we encountered issues (the deterioration of wood, siding and windows) which could sideline the integrity of the project.
