Your black belt test begins the day you take your first lesson in the martial arts. Today these kiddos took the next step in their journey to black belt and beyond. The goal of rank testing is to push your understanding of your material and allow you to either conquer your mistakes or let them conquer you.. that is the test. The goal is not to do your material perfectly because perfection is a falicy, it is to see how you recover from your mistakes and push through. The three golden rules to the road to black belt and success in general are show up, practice, and never give up. Great job today.
