In one of my last videos I was asked if we had a putting green. We do it is off of Commonwealth. Also good news as it appears Commonwealth will again be open soon as the last bit of pavement is laid in front of the office.

It has been an interesting year to say the least. When I started in practice back in 1997, technology was much more limited. We started to see a condition I nicknamed mouse shoulder it was usually a right shoulder pain that referred into the right shoulder blade. Fast forward 20+ years, mix in a pandemic and I’m seeing a new condition I’m calling Zoom Back it’s an upper back pain usually caused by hours of computer use or zoom meetings. I’ve seen it in teachers, student...s and professionals that spends lots of time in online meetings. As a chiropractor I believe I am uniquely positioned to help your body to adapt to the changing demands technology places on your body, by helping to recover movement patterns that this conditions can challenge. I was looking forward to donating my plasma to help others. My COVID19 episode was pretty benign but produced a high antibody count. I credit the power of getting adjusted regularly and the scientists that shared supplemental advice (including vitamins) despite media ridicule and censorship, shared approaches that gave my body the best chance to dance with this virus. I tested positive on New Year’s Day, I had no fever beyond New Year’s Eve and returned to work on January 11th. I had an occasional uncontrollable cough until about January 20th otherwise no other symptoms. I tested (+) for antibiotics on January 11th. Be & Stay well.

Happy Sunday! I keep hearing nonsensical talk about we are experiencing a third wave (we are still on the backside of the first wave). Numbers for Orange County, CA for October 25, 2020. Orange County Reported the lowest hospitalizations since April 13th (150) well below the July 14th high of 722. ICU numbers are still hovering (55) just above the recent low of 42, but well below the high of 255 in July.... Please keep in mind that a positive test while counted as a case does not mean the person is sick. The test positivity rate (3.2%) satisfies a move to tier 3 and has remained in that range since early September. The Adjusted Daily Case Rate per 100,00 remains in the tier 2 region of 4.6. By comparison both of these numbers remain significantly below their recorded highs. Orange County Covid-19 update, it’s been a little while: Over 50,000 cumulative recovered cases. Daily COVID19 cases after a brief blip increase is once again moving closer to advance to Tier 3, currently at 4.6, needs to get between (1-3.9) to advance.... Testing Positively Percent sits at 3.5% and has comfortably remained in the Tier 3 range of (2-4.9%) for many weeks. Hospitalizations continue to trend downwards, today’s numbers are 160 we are slightly above the (10/3/20 low of 155). ICU cases are at 57, that is 15 more than the (9/23/20 low of 42). There are approximately 4,599 active cases, this is approximately 8.2% of the cumulative case total of 56,070.

A 9-8 come from behind win that ended just before midnight. Max 2-2, 2 RBIs, 2 Runs scored Pitched 3 innings, 2 BB, 2 Runs, 1 earned, 1 Hit, 4 Ks.

First game since March 0-1 and a walk, came around to score the winning run in a 2-1 game.

Out of the office again tomorrow, but tonight we’ll enjoy some barbecue, while visiting Arizona for some baseball.

A little late with this weeks Orange County, CA Covid update: Over 90% of the county’s 52382 cases have achieved recovery. Hospitalizations are down to 170, this matches April 23rd numbers and dramatically lower than the 722 reported on July 14th.... ICU cases matched a recent low of 55 (9/19/20) as the lowest since April 16th and well below the high number of 245 reported on July 15th. We have also achieved a new low of 3.6 cases per 100,000 and a 3.1% testing positivity percent both if maintained qualify for Orange County to advance into Tier 3 (Moderate). Be & stay well.

In March many chiropractors where harassed and investigated by licensing agencies for sharing this information (unfortunately I was too intimidated to share it directly myself on this page). It’s important to understand that published scientific evidence is often at the expense of expedience. It is good to science once again catching up to chiropractic.

Happy Sunday! News and statistics about Covid-19 in Orange County continue to move in the right direction. We moved up to Tier 2 on Tuesday, we have already achieved one of the two numbers to move to Tier 3 for Positive Test (4.2%) 2-4.9%.... The other number continues to decline as well (5.2) need to be between 1-3.9. We were at 5.9 last week. Hospitalizations have fallen below 200 (196) for the first time since April 27th. ICU patients is at 58 and haven’t been that low since April 17th. Over 88% of Orange County cases have achieved recovery (45197/50930).

I shared something about this back in May. I was reluctant to do so with all the attacks and threats that where being launched at other chiropractors across the Country for telling others to take these supplements. First the CDC and now even Fauci acknowledge the possible benefits of supplements to complement the immune system.
