Grabbed one last session on #herodirt today before the storms rolled in. The lower elevation trails in Southpark dry fast, giving Quincy great access to amazing trails "almost" all year. Trails in the Lost Sierra are on the soak cycle right now. Many inches of rain and snow have fallen over the past week, penetrating and softening the soil. Anything above 5500’ is snowed out However, the non-motorized area known as Southpark in Quincy has perfect dirt! The Mills Peak trail is also good to go up to the bench. Winter riding in Quincy can be epic, but at times it can get pretty wet and muddy. Lower elevation riding on Mt Hough and in the non motorized Southpark system has been awesome the last few days and now's the time to get out before more weather sets in.
