Your YCC has partnered with the Tuolumne County Information and Business Assistance Department to help meet the new Cal OSHA Covid-19 ETS Regulations re N-95 Masks for local businesses, non-profits, organizations and clubs holding meetings or events within the next 30 days. This NEW Covid-19 regulation REQUIRES employers to provide respirators/N95 masks for UNVACCINATED workers upon request. We are extending this program to include local non-profits, organizations and comm...unity clubs who are planning meetings or events. Thank you Visit Tuolumne County for sharing this BREAKING NEWS! _________ The Yosemite National Park Public Affairs Office announced today (January 29, 2021), that the park will temporarily require day-use reservations effective February 8th.... What this means: Park day-use visitors will be required to have a day-use reservation to enter the park for their planned entry date beginning on February 8th. (Reservations are valid for seven days and must be validated on the reservation date.) The temporary day-use reservation system will allow the park to manage visitation levels to reduce risks associated with exposure to COVID-19. Reservations will be available online at recreation.gov beginning at 8:00am on February 1st. Day-use reservations are required for all users including annual pass and senior pass holders. Like everything in this world, winter recreation will look different in 2020-2021 around Badger Pass. - Access will open when sufficient snow has covered meadows sensitive to trampling. - Glacier Point Road will be regularly plowed to Badger Pass and the parking lot will be maintained for access. - There will be minimal maintenance of the Glacier Point Road beyond Badger Pass. Expect rugged conditions.... - The ski lodge and all concession facilities will be inaccessible this year. Limited snow play will be available. - Portable toilets will be available for restroom use. - Wilderness access for trails and area along Glacier Point Road will open and self-registration for permits will occur outside the A-frame.
