After cracking, then peeling, then pounding you must soak and flush the tannic acid out of the nut. Then, pound for pound you have as much protein as meat. Out of all the cutting my edges I own there are fundamental similarities regardless of different weight and sizes. All of my knives must be not o my durable but also light weight, and multi functional with regards to various cutting applications- fine cutting- splitting and even chopping especially with the use of a baton. I prefer full tang but will settle for encapsulated tang or a very strong and well-made folder with a lock. My favorite brands are Maura, bench maid, and Spyderco. I also have much respect for Condor and Tops- #survivalknives

The short video shows part of the birth cycle of the sea turtles of the Yucatán peninsula. This video also highlights an eco-conservation organization called Echo Bahía that plays a critical role in preserving and protecting the birthing cycle of sea turtles on the Yucatán peninsula.

Morning run on the Mayan Rivera

Tulum’s original Maya name, Zamá translates as place of the dawning sun. This is because it has a perfect view of the rising sun! The city was a major trading and religious center between the 11th and 16th centuries and is one of the coolest Mayan archaeological sites in Mexico similar to other popular ruins like Chichen Itza and Coba. Tulum was built to be a seaport fortress, with steep ocean cliffs providing protection from the East, and a large limestone wall enclosin...g the rest of the city on three sides. The population of Tulum was once 1,600 people, and acted as an important trading center for the Mayan world. Goods like turquoise, jade, cotton, food, copper bells, axes, and cacao beans were traded here. #tulum #mayan
