Morning Announcements for the week of December 7, 2020 . Hi Bristow Bears! It's the second quarter! Our advisory theme for the second quarter is: BE HERE. Even though we are not at school physically, we are all together in spirit! Focus on being present Bears. Show up everyday and bring that positive attitude. Participate in school spirit, activities and demonstrate those Bristow ROCKS and BEARS qualities in everything you do. This school belongs to all of us! ... Parents, please see the below information for Q3 book distribution. All students will need new materials for classes in January. Please have your students bring their ID cards to speed up the process of checking out. As always, please wear a mask, and wait on the Blue X's in front of the library 6 feet apart. 6th Graders come on Thursday December 10 from 2:00-4:00 . You will be getting Number the Stars and Stemscopes Segment 3. 7th graders come on Friday December 11 from 2:00-4:00 You will be receiving Tangerine and Stemscopes Segment 3. On 12/15 the Library is closed. 8th graders come in on Thursday December 17 from 2:00-4:00 You will need to return The Giver in the box outside of library and PICK UP: Segment 3 of Stemscopes. Friday December 18 is a Make up Day for all grades from 12:30-2:00pm Reminder, if you'd like to check out a library book, email your book request to Mrs. K ([email protected]) by Wednesday at 1:00. Your book will be available the following day, Thursday, from 1:30-4:00. Bored? Want to be able to chat and see friends that aren't in your classes? Come to Wednesday PAWsitive Peers lunch bunch! You can set up a meeting with friends in a breakout room or just come in to hang out and play some fun games and activities. Email Ms. Hans for details ([email protected])! There will be a sign up sheet for groups of friends to join or to sign up just to come in and play our group game. Yearbooks are still on sale at Jostens.com. The price is $65 until December 31st. It will go up to $75 on January 1st so don't wait to buy. The next TUPE club meeting will be on December 14th at 2:30pm. Meetings will be every SECOND Monday of each month. Please email Mrs. Terry ([email protected]) to get the link for the zoom meetings. Our Broadway Bears Drama Club is putting on 2 performances of "12 Angry Pigs" and "Back to the Summer" on December 16 & December 17 from 6-7:30. Tickets will be free but you will need to get a link to our YouTube page. Please email Ms. Zapata for an email link starting on Friday December 4. Bristow's Holiday Spirit Week is December 15th through December 18th. Show your school spirit by dressing up and sending photos to Mrs. Slay for the Yearbook. Yearbook needs you, so please keep sending in those photos!
