October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month - which means it's time for The National Network to End Domestic Violence annual #31n31 campaign. Follow along & learn more! #DVAM2016

In February, our Life Skills group had a special self defense workshop with IMPACT Bay Area, a 501c3 organization where people can get practical self-defense and personal safety training in a welcoming environment regardless of age, physical fitness, gender, orientation, or weight. Instructor Dani Villalobos offered an overview of each technique and an opportunity for each participant to practice. It was informative, empowering, and a lot of fun. Thanks Impact!

As we count down to #GivingTuesday we are highlighting our generous in-kind donors...today we send our appreciation to MerryMakers , Five Little Monkeys & IDEO who donate toys that bring big smiles to the faces of children in our Women's HOPE, FOTEP, and Women's Recovery Association programs. September is Recovery Month and Women's Recovery Association and Asian American Recovery Services have enjoyed participating in Recovery Happens in San Mateo County events last week and today. Thanks to everyone who came out!

Last night at the 2014 Northern California Celebration of Achievement, staff from Women’s Recovery Association joined others from the Health Right 360 family of programs to honor the 348 individuals who have completed HR360 treatment programs in the Bay Area this year congratulations!
