Hello Eagle Families, We have been given new information in regards to a season. There has been a proposal to align our schedule to correspond with the high school, who have a projected start date of December 8th. In these times of uncertainty, decisions are made in the best interest of our youth. At this time we are looking to start practices in December with the first game being January 9th. We will have an 8 game season with a round robin at the end for championships. ... I would like to thank all of you for the continued support, patience, and understanding during this incredibly trying time. Please keep an eye out on your emails as well as our Facebook page for more information. If you know of someone who plays for another organization in our area that has already cancelled their season, they are more then welcome to come play with us with no penalty. However for the next season they would have to go back to their home school. We will keep spots open for our West Valley kids first. Thank you so much again, Mollie

Eagle families. We are aware September 1st has come and gone, please note we are working as dillegently as possible to make the best decisions for our program, our community and most importantly our athletes! SYF has pushed the season start date to October 1st. Many surrounding programs have cancelled while many have post postponed. Inventory of teams and what a schedule may look like is being evaluated. We are working on many ideas and options and nothing is off the table wi...th circumstances changing daily! Financially we were obligated to conditioning of helmets and New Jersey’s as well as insurance costs! We are considering that aspect as well as the impact of playing late on other youth sports in our community. None of this has been easy or convenient for anyone! Please be patient with us as we are trying to get our athletes out on those fields. WVJE

Hello everyone, Last week we had another board meeting to decide our future. We unanimously voted on continuing to wait it out for our kids to have a season. There are enough teams waiting it out, so once we get the go ahead we can still play. As for cheer, we are year round if we want to be. We will probably wait it out another month, however we are looking into comps to have the girls participate in. ... Thank you all for you patience and understanding during these difficult times. We look forward to seeing you all soon. WVJE Board

Hello Eagle Family. As most of you know we had our SYF presidents meeting Thursday night via Zoom. We were presented with several options for start dates (both delayed from the normal season and dependent upon heath department recommendations). The first start date for the season will be 9/1 (and to be honest highly unlikely due to current numbers). The second start date is 10/1. There are still a lot of unknowns but we are as a league and organization trying our best to pr...ovide a season for our kids and do it in the safest way possible. As always we appreciate the patience, support and understanding that you continue to give. Our board will be meeting this week to take a discuss the possibilities. See more
