Friends, this is truly great news! "Meehan-Maloney Measure Affirms Importance of Child Safety in Custody, Visitation Adjudications." Survivors know all too well... how the system fails them and their children. Due to the tireless commendable efforts of protective parents, victims rights advocates, and activists across the country, an important bill has been put forward in congress. Father’s Day message for New Partnersour Unsung Heroes. I'd like to give special recognition to the new partners of mothers who are survivors of domestic viole...nce. It is an incredibly difficult task to watch someone you love suffer, especially when the person causing the pain is the biological dad and the custody courts who more often than not, fail your partner and her children. Your part in the effort to stop violence against women and kids is crucial. I acknowledge how exceedingly difficult and painful it can be for you, and appreciate all you do. Your love, kindness, and patience gives children and your healing partner a great example of what a healthy male role model should be. You are special and appreciated. Happy Father’s Day. Lundy (I apologize for not re-posting this yesterday. It's just as true today as any other. Hope you were surrounded with all the people you love.)
