While our goals are to give used bikes new life and provide essential transportation to those in need, connecting vintage bike lovers with classic rides is a fun side benefit. Specialized's Erik Nohlin finds a nearly all-original Stumpjumper Sport with Shimano Deore XT deerhead at bikex.org. The good news is we have a similar bike in amazing shape now available. Keep checking those bikes for recalled parts! Three times in the last few months we've found bikes with cranks recalled by Shimano 24 years ago! The company is thankfully still replacing them. #BikeMatchSV keeps rolling! Amy from Palo Alto is the happy new recipient of a #bikematch bike. She'll be using it to ride to work and get groceries for her parents. It's a story of good karma, as she helped to give out 75-100 bikes to kids in need at the Palo Alto School District, and now finally has a bike of her own. We're in desperate need of bike donations.
