A $25,000 REWARD is being offered for credible information that could lead to the whereabouts of missing Fort Hood soldier PFC Vanessa Guillen. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall, 126 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. She has several distinguishing tattoos including: a cross with a flower on her left arm, another flower on the left arm and a mountain with a circle on her left shoulder. She was last seen wearing a black t shirt and purple fitness-type pants. Here's what we know: -... Vanessa was last seen between 11:30 am and 12:20 pm on April 22, 2020 in the parking lot of her Headquarters in Fort Hood, Texas. - Her car keys, barracks room key, ID card and wallet were later found in the armory room where she had been working that day. Her cell phone is missing. - Vanessa's sister Mayra claims that they spoke the day before she disappeared and everything was completely normal. - On the day Vanessa went missing she texted her boyfriend saying that she was headed into work but would text back whenever she could. - Vanessa had repeatedly expressed to her mother, Gloria, that she did not feel safe at Fort Hood, and that a sergeant had been sexually harassing her. Vanessa did not report these incidents to the Army's Sexual Harrasment/Assault Response and Prevention program. - Mayra reported that she was afraid to go into work and now she is gone without a trace. - According to the CID, there has not been any credible information to support the claims that Vanessa had been sexually assaulted. (Take this with a grain of salt as they said the same thing about LaVena Johnson who was literally found with acid poured on her genitals to discard evidence.) - It has been over 50 days since Vanessa Guillen was last seen. Salma Hayek (actress) has pledged to spread awareness of Vanessa's disappearance everyday until she is found. ATM safety tips Always pay close attention to the ATM and your surroundings. Don’t select an ATM at the corner of a building corners create a blind spot. Use an ATM located near the center of a building. Do your automated banking in a public, well-lighted location that is free of shrubbery and decorative partitions or dividers. Maintain an awareness of your surroundings throughout the entire transaction. Be wary of people trying to help you with ATM transactions. Be aware o...f anyone sitting in a parked car nearby. When leaving an ATM make sure you are not being followed. If you are, drive immediately to a police or fire station, or to a crowded, well-lighted location or business. Do not use an ATM that appears unusual looking or offers options with which you are not familiar or comfortable. Do not allow people to look over your shoulder as you enter your PIN. Memorize your PIN; never write it on the back of your card. Do not re-enter your PIN if the ATM eats your card contact a bank official. Do not wear expensive jewelry or take other valuables to the ATM. This is an added incentive to the assailant. Never count cash at the machine or in public. Wait until you are in your car or another secure place. When using a drive-up ATM, keep your engine running, your doors locked and leave enough room to maneuver between your car and the one ahead of you in the drive-up line. Maintain a supply of deposit envelopes at home or in your car. Prepare all transaction paperwork prior to your arrival at the ATM. This will minimize the amount of time spent at the machine. Closely monitor your bank statements, as well as your balances, and immediately report any problems to your bank.
