Our sister agency, Arbor Hospice & Hemet Hospice Volunteers, Inc. , was able to give out many festive dinners this holiday season to those who are in need of a little assistance. Giving back is part of what we do best!

VNA Hospice & Palliative Care of So. California received about 100 quilts this year from our Volunteers at Upland Friendship Quilters. The members of this local group spend hours and hours creating these beautiful gifts for our patients. Each year in December, these lovely ladies deliver their gifts to share with our hospice patients. Sadly, this year, due to COVID-19, our staff could not host the reception we traditionally provide in celebration of their arrival. A huge thank you to Linda Sheehy for making the delivery and a big shout out to everyone at Upland Friendship Quilters for their generous gifts of labor and love.

On Veteran's Day we are reminded that our freedom is not guaranteed; it is protected by the brave men and women who risk their lives serving in our armed forces. Today we honor our veterans for the most important work of all, defending our citizens and protecting our country's independence. To all those who serve and have served, Happy Veteran's Day!
