Villa Musica Faculty Member Jesus Cervantes will be playing the #LiveFromTheVilla stage Friday, 10/22 at 7PM with cellist Peter Ko. The duo will be playing Chamber Music works by Maurice Ravel, Heitor Villa-Lobos, and Handel/Halvorsen! Here is a sneak peak.

The Villa Musica Chamber Orchestra meets in-person at a distance in our recital hall, equipped with new UV virus zapping air conditioning. Hope everyone stayed as cool as the Chamber Orchestra during this unexpected October heat-wave this weekend!

VM Community Partnerships instructor, Jose Rodriguez will be taking the #LiveFromTheVilla Stage tonight with "From Bach to Beatles". The program, as indicated by the title, will begin with pieces by Bach, will end with songs by the Beatles, and will feature a handful of other composers in the middle. Everyone at the Villa has been working hard to make sure everything stays healthy and clean! We do this by temperature checking everyone who enters the building and by cleaning regularly. It sure is different but we want everyone to feel as safe as possible while learning music at Villa Musica.

Select in-person private lessons and group classes have returned to the Villa! Here is the Kids Group Guitar class learning at a distance.

Join is tonight for another #LiveFromTheVilla performance featuring VM Faculty Member Kyle Adam Blair. He will be playing Robert Schumman’s Davidsbündlertänze (Dances of the Band of David), Op. 6 which was written in 1837. The piece is about 40 minutes long and features 18 movements.
