CMG is making progress working with @CarolloEngineers and @sfwater on a new Wastewater Treatment Plant for Treasure Island! The treatment plant is an important part of the sustainable infrastructure on the island and will eventually provide recycled water for outdoor irrigation systems and indoor non-potable water use. The facility also includes a wetland which is integrated into the adjacent future public park, serving as a public amenity, educational resource and wildlife habitat.

Moscone Center Expansion has been recognized with a Merit and Leading Edge award from AIA California! Congrats to the project team @skidmoreowingsandmerrill, @markcavagneroassociates, @sherwoodengineers, @sfpublicworks. The landscape design facilitates street life, improves gardens and playgrounds, creates a new plaza associated with the existing carousel, and enhances pedestrian connectivity with the the surrounding community district and Yerba Buena Gardens. The project carefully knit each of these separate pieces together to create a continuous park experience, navigating significant level and programmatic changes. While the past few months have changed our lives in so many ways, they have also proved one thing undeniably: our parks are essential. With park use at an all-time high, the economic downturn has put park funding and the nonprofits that support them at risk. In response, the @SFParksAlliance has launched the #HeartYourParks campaign, a public gratitude campaign for our city parks and public spaces. Please join CMG in support of Parks for All! https://secure.sfparksalliance.org//heart-your-par/c296164
