Water Safety Tip Wednesday Whenever in a group setting and around water, always make sure you have a designated water watcher. A water watcher’s sole responsibility is to supervise children when they are in or near the water. This can help ensure that everyone can have fun and stay safe near water. A water watcher should be: At least 16 years of age Has the knowledge and ability to recognize and rescue someone in distress Knows CPR... Has a working phone to call 9-1-1, if needed Is alert and not distracted by others See more
