We know you’re so excited to go on some autumn nature walks with your dog, but for this #FallSafetyTip, make sure you watch out for snakes, some of which can be venomous! They’re preparing for hibernation and may be a little crankier if disturbed by a curious pet! When walking or hiking, if something happens to your pet, be sure to contact your veterinarian as soon as possible. #VCApets

In honor of Vet Tech Week, I wanted to introduce you to those who joined the VCA Pet Medical Center family in 2020! Meet, Leony, Tara (top), Veronica, and Asha (bottom)! Leony is one of our Veterinary Assistants, and has been in the vet industry for 15 years. ... Tara is a Registered Veterinary Technician, and has been in the vet field for 26 years. Veronica is a Veterinary Assistant, and has been in the vet industry for 17+ years. Asha is the newest member of the VCA family and our new Client Service Representative. We are so proud to call these wonderful individuals family!

HELP DR. MELLIEN FIGHT CANCER! We are sad to report that a doctor at one of our sister hospitals, Dr. Mellien, has been very unexpectedly diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She has now started chemotherapy and will fight this as hard as she can! Dr. Mellien hopes to return to the office and resume seeing patients on at least a part-time basis in the near future.
