Right now, your U.S. Coast Guard continues 228 years of military service around the globe. In Antarctica, the USCGC POLAR STAR is at the ice edge ready to clear... a path thru multi-year ice to support U.S. Indo-Pacific Command’s #OPERATIONDEEPFREEZE. In the Middle East, crews from U.S. Coast Guard Patrol Forces Southwest Asia are conducting maritime security operations in the Arabian Gulf for U.S. Central Command. At Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve is providing water and landside security for U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM). At the same time, USCGC ALERT is pursuing dangerous drug smugglers off Central and South America in support of our Nation’s security. Our #USCG members continue to save lives every day, deter human trafficking, and conduct global defense operations. While our Coast Guard workforce is deployed, there are loved ones at home reviewing family finances, researching how to get support, and weighing childcare optionsthey are holding down the fort. Please know that we are doing everything we can to support and advocate for you while your loved one stands the watch. You have not, and will not, be forgotten.

Great job MWR!!!! You did an amazing job putting on the 2018 Annual Harvest Fest! We had such a great turn out join us next year for all the food, music, games, Haunted Cutter, Zombie Run, and Trunk-or-Treat! (Military ID needed to be granted base access) Keep up the great work everyone! Your efforts didn’t go unnoticed ! More pictures to come from last nights event.
