The Financial Aid Office has launched a new scholarship opportunity for students who are planning to study aboard in Spring 2018, it is the Study Abroad Grant. The Study Abroad Grant is open to USC undergraduate students who are participating in study abroad programs offered at USC for Spring 2018. The purpose of the grant is to ensure all students have the opportunity to access these programs. In particular, the grant is intended to assist students with additional expenses ...associated with overseas studies (e.g. vaccinations, plane tickets, passport fees). Student must have completed the 2017-208 financial aid application process and must be admitted into a USC student abroad program for a full semester or year. Recipients may request to receive funding earlier than the university’s normal disbursement schedule to cover upfront expenses. The grant award amount varies between $100 - $2000. Application deadline is October 27, 2017. The application can be found on Scholarship Management Portal, under the title of Study Abroad Grant. Students can access the Scholarship Management Portal by visiting https://financialaid.usc.edu and clicking on ‘Toolbox’ in the right hand corner.
