Do you want to join a cause bigger than yourself? True Shepherd is looking for partners to come alongside the "classic" school in Bouflette and provide prayer and funding. In the short term we plan to bridge the gap in the budget of the school. In the longer term we are planning to provide a small business for the school, like a shop or bakery, that can provide the on going funds to allow the school to grow and thrive. The sewing and tailoring class has come together to begin fabricating masks for the community. Just like the USA, masks are essential for public social interaction, so the students are giving their time and skills to provide brothers & sisters with much needed protection. #haitiministry #makingmasks

Several times a week a group of ladies from the village of Bouflette make a pilgrimage hike to the top of a local mountain. They go to pray and to worship God, thanking Him for his continuing provision for the valley below. Each of them have seen has mighty hand move in powerful ways these past months. And so they come, to offer their petitions to the Lord. The people of Haiti need our continued prayers, as the struggle of the country and it’s leaders continues. We add our vo...ices to these faithful sisters, for the Lord to continue His amazing transformation of the Bouflette valley. Praise the Lord! How good to sing praises to our God! How delightful and how fitting! The Lord is rebuilding Jerusalem and bringing the exiles back to Israel. He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. He counts the stars and calls them all by name. How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension! The Lord supports the humble, but he brings the wicked down into the dust. Sing out your thanks to the Lord; sing praises to our God with a harp. He covers the heavens with clouds, provides rain for the earth, and makes the grass grow in mountain pastures. He gives food to the wild animals and feeds the young ravens when they cry. He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or in human might. No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love.
