The Halloween Candy Cruise at Lee Fong Park was so much fun, non stop lines. The kids, adults and pets dressed up.

Please be aware that a scam is happening in Weaverville and surrounding areas. Over the past few months people are bringing in counterfeit chains and rings purchased from scam artists. The chains and rings are large like men's jewelry. They will approach you at gas stations, walking down the street, parking lots, casinos, and give you a hard luck story. These items are stamped with 18K. Do not fall for it. The jewelry is only gold plated. They are usually driving large SUV type vehicles, may have a family with them to make you feel sorry for them.
