TRACKING TARGETS #transformationtuesday Michael’s Transformation Story. ... Michael enrolled with us and had been following our training & nutrition program . He put in the work, and ate pretty well. He Lost 50lbs Boom But then he got stuck. He was guessing on nutrition. Miscalculating Targets. We had a talk... Changed 2 things. His lifestyle stayed almost exactly the same. He lost 8lbs the first week with the new modification. 2nd week - 2lbs more. 3rd week - 1.5lbs more. 4th week - 2lbs more. And last week was down 16lbs since modification. RELAUNCH Thompson Fit Family! We will be open for all session times this Monday, June 15th ... Excited to see you all! Please read carefully this ENTIRE POST and follow the steps to ensure you can book a training session for this Monday. I don’t want there to be any confusion and as a result, someone not be able to workout. There will be some changes at TF. One of them is that you need to book your training sessions in advance. The App you will download to book sessions is the MindBody app. I have posted a picture of it in the comments below. If you prefer, you can also book sessions from a computer by going to MindBody.io When you create an account in MindBody - it should link your membership you have with us automatically. If you are a new or returning client - you must enroll for a membership through the website MindBody.io (you CANNOT enroll a new membership in the App) **MindBody App download and Setup** Step 1 -> Download MindBody app Step 2 -> Create Account Step 3 -> Enter Email (same one that’s on file for your membership with us) Step 4 -> Create Password Step 5 -> Enter Basic Info Step 6 -> Confirm Email Address Step 7 -> Check email and click confirmation link. Step 8 -> Go back to the MindBody app Step 9 -> In search bar type Thompson Health and Fitness, Bakersfield, CA Step 10 -> Click on our Logo and View Schedule. Step 11 -> Select session time slot. If you’re already a current client - It should prompt you to Pay with Pass which is your membership If you have any issues with scheduling or updating your account - send a private message. Okay. Moving on to some changes inside the gym... Side note* - I understand that some of these changes are not ideal (and maybe even frustrating), but we have to follow them. **NEW PROTOCOLS** 1 All sessions must to be booked through the MindBody app (You will still scan your membership tag upon arrival) 2 Arrive 10 minutes early. 3 If a client books a session and does not show up, the client will NOT be able to book another session that day. (If this becomes a recurring issue we may have to implement a no show fee of $10) 4 Clients may only book 24 hours out from session time. If client books sessions out further than this, the client’s spot will automatically be cancelled from that time. 5 Bring a Towel. Workout Towels are Mandatory. 6 The Front door will be locked at start of session time. It will reopen 7 mins before the next session starts. 7 Clients will exit through back doors immediately after session ends. 8 Only 1 session per day will be permitted. No double sessions. 9 There will be no equipment usage between training sessions. 10 Bringing a friend in for a free session will need to be pre-approved and scheduled. 11 No Children or Any person allowed in the building that is not participating in the workout session. BACK IN STOCK: . After these long and painful months - it has finally arrived! (Technically it will be here later today, but shipping already called and confirmed) TOMORROW (Sat April 25th) I will be at the gym from 10am-12pm for curbside pickup. I will walk your glorious bag of gains to your car window, give you a social distancing hug, and you can be on your way ... For those of you who don’t know, this is our premier protein powder Limitless Labs LEAN that the truck driver has already tried to buy from me before delivery (true story) Unfortunately, we only have HALF the inventory we normally would receive. So, I have no idea if this will sell out or not - but I’m thinking of limiting quantities purchased so we don’t turn into the toilet paper industry. #JustKidding, take all of it. ***Conquer Quarantine*** Discover how Kate lost almost 45lbs and is getting fitter, stronger, and leaner even during quarantine at home. First things first...... Workouts matter. But nutrition matters more+ In Kate’s before picture below... She was already training with us. She had been for 5 months (May - Oct) She was stronger. Fitter. And more energetic. But the scale wasn’t moving. We had a talk, she listened. And she executed. Oct 31st - (she had no candy) was 184lbs. We had the talk. And the quest begins... Remember: this was after 5 months of being professionally trained by yours truly. Absolutely nothing changed about her exercise routine at this point. But her habits did... Nov 5th... 179lbs (-5lbs down her first week) Nov 12th... 175lbs (-9lbs) Nov 25th... 170lbs (-14lbs) Dec 9th...(her birthday) 165lbs (-19lbs) Jan 7th... 159lbs (-25lbs) Jan 22nd... 155lbs (-29lbs) Feb 24th... 150lbs (first time since she has been married) And today. During quarantine... She has hit 141lbs. Almost 45lbs downs! Not having the time is no longer an excuse (it never was) but everyone is at home. I promise, there is still plenty of time to Netflix and whatever. I need 30 mins per day. I need you to follow the path. Execute the plan. And transform. It would be easy to say I’ll get serious after this whole corona thing is over. Sure, no one will blame you for it. No judgement. Everyone is doing it. But you can become more now. You have the time, and quite frankly, you probably need the distraction. To focus on your growth. And not the current anxiety of the world. I know it can be scary. But the only thing you truly have control over is you. So let’s make a change. Okay, this post is way too long already.
