The Liberty Art Gallery and Event Space is Available for Monthly Rentals... The Liberty Art Gallery is located in the historic Wille’s Building at 435 Alamitos, Long Beach, 90802. Built in 1930, the building housed Wille’s Tin Shop, an industrial tin shop that operated from 1930-2003. The building features exposed brick and many remnants of metal that were incorporated into the general design as a tribute to the history of it’s original use. Our 2400 sq. foot interior include...s a large main gallery with 12’ high walls for art exhibitions and a small windowed gallery. The main gallery opens up through a pair of original rustic barn doors and invites you to a hidden gemthe gallery’s 2200 sq foot, outside courtyard. The courtyard is completely enclosed and private. It features a stage, a planter box with a Zen Buddha fountain, large-boxed Ficus trees, patio space heaters, a bar & decorative lighting. The monthly rental rate includes many amenities (100 chairs, 6 tables, sound system, smart projector, internet, pedestals, fridge, ladders, etc.). My good, high school friend (Lavun) and her husband (Aaron) were in Long Beach today for a convention and walked over to the gallery to surprise me. It worked. Scout and I were on a walk down by the convention center!!

Gave them a gallery tour and discussed the possibility of The Liberty Art Gallery & Event Space hosting the Port of LB's Photo Gallery Exhibit. Fingers crossed they choose The Liberty. It would be a huge honor!!
