See if you can taste the hint of orange zest.... - To create Beanie, we first bake tons of homemade Nutella bread pudding and then combine it all with a custard gelato base. We mix in extra Nutella into the gelato as well. It's one of our all-time favorite flavors. - This milk based gelato is made using Midnight Cocoa. Honey is added to lightly sweeten the gelato. The cocoa powder gives the gelato a dense, almost brownie batter like consistency. - one of our most requested flavors of all time is back! If we were going to submit one flavor into a gelato competition, this would be it. This popular gelato starts by infusing milk with rosemary before combining it with olive oil. Faux Fur - our newest fabric. It's vegan. It's a sorbet. But you'd never know that. The base is made with almond butter, which is super creamy and rich. We could buy roasted almonds, but we don't. We roast whole, raw almonds in-house. We dissolve salt in warm water and stir it into the almonds to evenly distribute the salt and allow it to stick to the almonds. After they dry we chop them up and add them to the gelato. Look who's back! Gabardine (banana + chocolate) - our classic fabric uses at least a dozen fresh bananas in every batch for a rich banana flavor. Then we drizzle in melted chocolate which hardens as it cools to add a little sweetness Silk (almond + sage) One of the things we think our head chef does better than just about anyone is his aromatic infusions. Silk is no exception. We combine almond butter with a sage infused base to create a nutty/savory flavor profile. We then c...andy our own almonds and mix those into the gelato to give it a little sweetness and additional crunch. Plush (watermelon + mint) One of our favorite vegan sorbets. We use so much fresh watermelon in every batch that we don't need to add any other water or liquid to make it. We blend in a little bit of mint to add some freshness and cooling effect to the aftertaste of the sorbet. It's the perfect summer quarantine flavor. NEW VEGAN FABRIC! We start with loads of Ataulfo mangos and a little bit of coconut cream. Ataulfo mangos are one of the smoothest-eating varieties of mango and don't have the fibrous texture found in other types. When ripe, they are soft to the touch (and possibly even wrinkled). The fruit has a velvety texture and a sweet mango taste. Then we make a gluten free pie crust from blanched almond flour that is cooked for just the right amount of time so it’s sweet and almondy w...ithout tasting roasted. It's like eating a mango tart with a little bit of sweet coconut cream on top.
