Dearest patients, We hope you are all staying safe and healthy in this very unprecedented and trying time. Every day is only a step closer to the end of the pandemic, and we will get through this together. Due to the pandemic, the state of California has issued a stay home order on our citizens. We certainly hope that you will abide by this as best as you can.... Despite the stay home order, we still remain open for emergency dental treatment only. This means that we will postpone all non-emergency and non-essential treatment until updates are advised. Sycamore Dental Practice is committed to delivering you the safest and highest quality care possible. As you may be aware, dental offices throughout the US are already heavily regulated by the CDC (Centers of Disease Control and Prevention) and OSHA (Occupational Health and Safety Administration). Vigilant infection control, whether through fervent use of personal protective equipment, high degree of disinfection and sterilization, and aerosol control by our assistants are only a few examples of the many practices we enforce to ultimately provide a safe space for you and our staff. If you are experiencing a toothache, dental pain, or swelling of any sort, please call or text our emergency line: (951) 529-7425. We will schedule you an appointment as soon as we can to relieve you of your pain. In order to continue maximizing social distancing and minimizing exposure, we ask that you abide by the following precautions: 1) If you have been experiencing a fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, or a dry cough, we may ask you to seek help at an emergency room. (Toothaches and infections may cause a fever which may be misconstrued as COVID-19.) 2) We will only treat one patient in the office at a time, so if there are patients ahead of you, please wait patiently until we are ready. 3) Please call or text us to let us know when you arrive in the parking lot and we will let you know when we are ready for you. 4) Before your appointment, we recommend that you wait in the car until we are ready to seat you in your own personal operatory (patient room). 5) Any visitors or drivers will be asked to stay in the car, unless the patient is a minor or has special needs. 6) Upon entrance of the practice, we will ask you to sanitize your hands while one of our staff escorts you to your personal room.
