KEEP A STRAIGHT COURSE BY ACTING JUSTLY, LOVING MERCY, AND HUMBLY WALKING WITH GOD! Proverbs 15:21 says that folly brings joy to the one who has no sense but whoever has understanding keeps a straight course (NIV). What is folly and what does it mean to keep a straight course? Let's talk about this. Folly: foolishness, believing, saying and doing things that ... will result in harming ourselves and others. Straight: to do what is good and right; doing an act that is not perverse but right or just. Understanding: insight, skill, wisdom, to discern Course: to walk as a lifestyle One who has understanding, wisdom and discernment will live a lifestyle that is good, right and just! They will 'keep a straight course' continuing to do what is good and right. So how do we know what is good and right? The verse below helps us understand how we should live. Through the saving work of Christ Jesus, we can keep a straight course, have a lifestyle of doing what is just, loving mercy and walking humbly with God! Nothing can compare to keeping a straight course because it means knowing and walking with God through the saving power of Christ Jesus and in the strength of the Holy Spirit! May we keep a straight course bringing much glory and praise to our loving Heavenly Father!

The teaching of Christ Jesus is to believe that He, God the Son, came in a physical body. This was necessary in order for His holy blood to take away our sin. If we believe that He did not come in the flesh, we do not have relationship with God because we are still controlled by our sin. Likewise, if we believe that He was not God in the flesh, we are calling God a liar because we do not believe that He came from God the Father. If you have never put your trust in the Lord J...esus to take away your sin and put you into relationshp with God, you can begin today! Call on His Name, ask Him to save you and He is eagerly waiting to do so! The Holy Spirit is here to help us! If you are a believer in Christ Jesus, but you are being influenced by heretical teachings about the Lord Jesus, reject them and renew your love for Him by believing that He came in the flesh and that He is God the Son! If we remain in the teaching of Christ we have a relationship with both the Father and the Son ( 2 John v.9 New Living Translation). There is nothing better than having relationship with God the Father and Son and growing in that relationship by the help of the Holy Spirit! Remain in Christ!!!

Hey Friends! We pray your weekend is going well! Where would we be without the grace of God! Through Adam, sin entered the human race and it would result in death, physically and spiritually for everyone. But those who " . . . receive GOD'S ABUNDANT PROVISION OF GRACE and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ (Romans. 5;17 NIV)! And verse 9 of the same chapter says that we are justified by His blood so that we might be saved from God's ...wrath through Him! Those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and gift of righteousness are those who rely on Christ Jesus to remove their sin, to put us in right relationship with God the Father so we can know Him and be with Him through eternity! It is ONLY by the blood of the Lord Jesus, who is God the Son, and the Son of God, who was fully God and fully man during His earthly life and after His resurrection, returned to Heaven. Feel like you have done too much wrong to deserve God's grace? None of us deserve His grace, that's why salvation through Christ Jesus is by grace. We have all sinned and fallen short of the way He designed us to live. Don't rely on human effort to try to get right with God. Don't rely on rituals or traditions; receive God's abundant provision of grace - His love, forgiveness, help, mercy, favor, through Christ Jesus! Receive His gift of righteousness! God is the One who begins to make our lives new! It's all by His abundant provision of grace and gift of righteousness through Christ Jesus the LORD! Not sure what to do? Call on His Name and say, "Dear heavenly Father, be merciful to me a sinner. I receive Your abundant provision of grace and gift of righteousness through Christ Jesus! I want to know You and be with you forever! Bring me into Your Family through Christ Jesus and seal me with the Holy Spirit! Amen! If you have any questions or prayer needs please leave a message! Receive and enjoy God's abundant provision of grace in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior!!!

Are Christians the Reincarnation of Christ? Hey Friends! Just a follow up with the Passion Translation. The short clip below contains Brian Simmons claim that Christians are the reincarnation of Christ or 'the word made flesh again. What?? This is utter nonsense and extremely heretical. Only the Lord Jesus was the Word made flesh' because He is God the Son and took on human form in order to be The sacrifice for our sins. Christians are not little gods. We are redeemed from t...he vileness of sin and made holy, pure and clean through the blood of Jesus and the working power of the Holy Spirit! I post and write because I care about you; that you would stay with the truth of God's word, faith in Christ and be filled and led by the Holy Spirit! Be on guard against the New Apostolic Faith (NAR), Bethel Redding, and those who hold to teachings that focus on the supernatural, emotions, passions and the belief that the Church is going to restore the earth, thereby ushering in the 2nd Coming of Christ Jesus. This is called dominion theology and is not found in Scripture. The Lord Jesus is going to come in His glory and set up His kingdom on earth! For those who are concerned about 'judging others' the Lord Jesus said not to judge others when we are doing the same things Matthew 7:1-3. The context has to do with hypocrisy. He also said to watch out for false prophets in v. 15, 'by their fruit you will recognize them v. 16-20. The word recognize, means to realize, come to understand. The way in which we recognize false prophets, teachers and their teachings is to compare what they say with the Bible. If it goes against Scripture, reject it. So, yes, we are to judge, not to condemn but be able to discern between what is heretical and what is truly of God. Place your trust in the Lord Jesus, read the Bible daily, receive the Holy Spirit, pray every day! The love of God (Psalms 63:3) and fellowship with Him (I John 1:3-4) is far greater and better than anything! If you have any questions, please leave a message! The LORD bless and keep you!!! The Passion Translation of the Bible I strongly encourage you to stay away from the Passion Translation of the Bible. It is not accurate to say the least. It leads the reader to focus on it's name; passion, feelings and emotions versus growing in the grace and knowledge of God. The attached video explains the dangers in greater detail. Stay with the NIV (New International Version), ESV (English Standard Version), King James, New King James, NASV (New American Standard Version), GNT (Good News Translation) and other reliable translations. When searching for a Bible, see if there are multiple scholars involved in the translation process. This is a good indication that it will be founded on solid biblical interpretation as opposed to a single author. Any questions, please leave a message. God bless you!

Are We Loaded Down with Care? A follow up from yesterday in relation to Psalms 55:22, Casting our cares upon the LORD because He cares for us. The end of this verse says, " . . . He will never let the righteous be shaken." Some translations use the word "fall". Let's talk about this word "shaken" because it is significant. We briefly discussed its meaning yesterday; it means to stagger, to be shaken, to bring down, cause to fall. In addition, it's meaning is rooted in the fo...llowing: a carrying frame, pole, a yoke bar. If would rest on the shoulders and neck. So what does this mean? What is the verse telling us? If our 'yoke bar' is overloaded with what we are carrying, the probability of falling down under the load is almost certain. We spent some years in Africa and often saw women walking along a path, carrying water to their homes. At times they would stagger because of the heavy load! The point? I believe the message the LORD is conveying to us from this verse is that if we are weighed down, overloaded with what we are carrying, we will eventually fall. Weighed down with what kind of things? Past failures, miss opportunities, tragedies, paralyzing fears, guilt, self-condemnation, unforgiveness and bitterness to mention a few. As we begin to cast or throw these things to the LORD, to give them over to Him, we will feel lighter! His peace will bring stability to our lives! Dread and fear will be driven out by the joy of HIs presence! Whatever it is, cast your care upon Him! He will take away our heavy weight of worries and fears and replace them with His unfailing love! For the Lord Jesus said, "Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."(Matthew 11:28-30 NIV). Are you carrying a burden of sin today? Worried? Do doubts abound? Is unresolved anger pulling you down? Are you staggering underneath the crushing load of lust and pride? Cast your cares upon the Lord Jesus! He bore our sins in His body on the cross so that we might be saved from the torment of evil and brought into fellowship with God! He is ready and mighty to save! Cast your cares and call upon Him today!

Cast Your Cares Upon the LORD In Psalm 55, David encourages us to cast our cares upon the LORD because He will sustain us. Psalm 55 is a desperate prayer to God for help against his enemies. They are threatening his life with malice, slander, lies and angry insults. As a result, he is in anguish and tormented by fear. He calls on God for help, evening, morning and at noon v. 16! He is desperate! The next few verses tell of God's saving power and that he, David, was rescued un...harmed! Toward the end of this Psalm in verse 22, he encourages others to cast their cares upon the LORD! What about us? What cares do we have? What are we carrying? Let's look at verse 22 more closely. To cast means to throw, to hurl. Cares are something we are concerned about, something that would require help outside of ourselves. The Name LORD is the proper name for the One True God who exists as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is the One who has always been and always will be. He brought creation into existence. To sustain means to hold, to provide, supply what is needed. The righteous are those who love God, who rely on Him for salvation through Christ Jesus and obey His word. To be shaken means to stagger, to bring down, cause to fall, overwhelmed with fear. As we cast, throw our cares, worries and fears over to the LORD, they are no longer weigh us down! The LORD takes them and can deal with them! He is the Eternal One and there is nothing that is remotely greater than He!!! As we cast our cares over to Him, He sustains us. He supplies what we need! It could be hope, peace, salvation, deliverance! He will sustain us and never allow us to shaken. To be shaken or to fall would imply total defeat. That will happen to the wicked but not to those who cast their cares upon the LORD, who put their trust in Him! Are you weighed down by cares even now? Call on the Lord Jesus, cast your cares over to Him! Receive His saving, delivering, redeeming salvation because He cares for us! Let's trust in Him and He will sustain us!
