TENNIS AT SONOMA HIGH SCHOOL DURING RESURFACING! The resurfacing of courts 1, 2 and 3 at Maxwell began last Monday and should be completed in approximately one more week. Tennis Pro, Felipe Monroy will continue to provide lessons and programs on court 4. Court 5 is still open to the public. The Sonoma High School courts are also available as follows:... Monday - Friday: Courts will be open 3:30pm - 10:00pm Saturday & Sunday: Courts will be open 8:00am - 10:00pm A gate is being installed on the high school's main driveway. When completed, it will be closed at 10:00pm weekdays and locked on the weekends. When the gate is locked you will need to park in Golton Hall parking lot and walk to the courts. WELCOME BACK TO TENNIS AT MAXWELL PARK! Hello Tennis Friends! We know you are as excited to get back on the courts as we are! THE MAXWELL COURTS ARE NOW OPEN!... *Per the county, the courts may only be used by individuals alone or in a group comprised solely of individuals from the same household.* We know many of you like to play doubles, but that is not an option yet unless you are members of the same household. And if you absolutely must play doubles with members of your household, here are the instructions from the USTA... You should consider not playing doubles, which could lead to incidental contact and unwanted proximity. If you do play doubles, avoid all incidental contact, NO Bryan Brothers Chest Bumps and NO whispering to each other from a close distance to strategize. We can't wait for all of our members and friends to come back to play. Rules and procedures have been put in place by the county so we can play in the safest way possible. General Info/ Changes: Play is limited to single individuals or members of the same household Practice Social Distancing AT 6' Court hours are sunrise to sunset. Please close the gates behind you if you are the last to leave. Limit your court use to 90 minutes. Please be fair to others that are wanting to play and are waiting. If you arrive and the courts are taken, please do not stay and group together, either practice social distancing or come back at another time. Tennis Pro, Felipe Monroy will not be able to resume lessons at this time. We will let you know as soon as he is able to get back on the courts. There will be signage posted on all gates, please read and follow all suggestions and rules below. If you have an underlying condition, if you do not feel comfortable, if you feel sick or compromised, for any reason, or if you have been exposed to COVID-19 DO NOT COME TO THE COURTS.
