Merced info Pits open at 1 Drivers meeting 500 pm Hotlaps 545 Racing 630... Credit cards accepted These are our Guidlines to please follow this at the track. Following these guidlines will allow us to continue to race in the future if possible. This is a Non Spectator event and the main grandstands will be closed. The pit concession will also be closed. Masks are Mandatory if social distancing of 6 feet can not be maintained. Pits will be open at 1pm Preparation: In order to continue keeping our county safe, please clean and disinfect all equipment prior to arrival at the facility. It is highly recommended that all trucks, trailers, motorhomes, personal vehicles be actively disinfected through a wipe-down process by individual attendees prior to arrival to Merced Speedway. Pre-Event: If a participant or team member is sick or displays symptoms of COVID19- STAY HOME! Symptoms include fever, muscle pain, cough, headache, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, chills or repeated shaking with chills. Participants should wash hands with soap and water after being in a public place, after blowing nose, coughing, or sneezing, preparing and/or consuming food. Participants should avoid touching their faces. Upon arrival to Merced Speedway: . Do NOT exit your vehicle to walk up to the Pit Booth, until you reach the gate. By doing it this way, we hope to help expedite the process of getting through the pit gate. Participants will remain in their designated pit area and will adhere to the 6’ Social Distancing requirement from other participants. Participants will be allowed in the spectator area on backstretch to watch their respective team car when it is on the track, but will need to vacate the area when their car exits the track Event: Officials will communicate with Participants over the PA system. Line-ups and order of events can be found at the pit board or on the My Race Pass app. Special Considerations: If YOU are or live with someone over the age of 65 or WITH underlying medical conditions, please consider staying home or be prepared to self quarantine upon your return. LAST OF ALL IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS MESSAGE THE PAGE AND WE WILL ANSWER. Please keep the comments to a minimum on the page anything not pertaining to the race will be deleted. Alright everyone here is a little layout of the land for this weekend! First picture Yellow box is where all vehicles with no trailers will park Red box is where camping will be you will go down the road between the orange cones and park in the first two rows or all the way around and back into the fence by the race track Blue box is the pavement pit parking only camping allowed in this area will be ones that have a race car with it not extra spots allowed just for camping... in this area. Dirt Pit Parking lot will be locked 1 hour after the races are completed. There will be no camping allowed in the dirt pits. The second picture is the road map into the pits (yes its not the best lol) we have a road laid out all the way around the pavement pits so cars and trailers can get thru there and all the spots are chalked out for you to pit do not take more then 1 spot and please park in between the lines. For those camping Oct 23-24 Camping will be allowed only in the pavement lot you can not take an extra spot in the pit area just for an rv unless race trailer is connected to it The dirt pits will be locked at night We will have port a potties in pavement lot Reminder there will be a lot of traffic in 11th street lot at night as there will be another event in the fairgrounds....
