September 9, 2020 Sunol, California As if COVID wasn’t enough, now the fires and record heat waves! Today it rained Ashes from a cloud covered orange sky!

With great remorse we had to cut the beautiful ivy from our historical barn! The ivy took root in the mortared stones and caused easy access to uninvited critters! We planted this ivy in the late 80’s early 90’s so we remember each and every stone we fell in love with when we first saw this barn! Enjoyed the ivy but like the stones exposed better! We left just a little bit of it at the base but I think eventually that too will have to go! #sunolstonebarnhouse

To the men and woman who served our country, THANK YOU! Our flag has flown all year long for years now. We don't ever take it down. Why some ask? Because there is an "immigrant" living in this home who owes her freedom to her country!
