To all of our supporters! Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! We were victorious today at the SLO County Board of Supervisors meeting. The vote was 4-0 in our favor. We will be allowed to have six concerts in 2021 with some reasonable restrictions. Sometimes you just have to compromise. Also, there will be NO RESTRICTIONS on racing events! This decision will allow the Santa Maria Raceway/Stadium805 to have the best chance of long-term success by allowing a diversity of events.... And the public comments were overwhelmingly in our favor. It took over 3 hours just to listen to all the recorded comments. It was so cool to listen to some of the fans and teams communicate how our track has been a big part of their lives. So to all that voiced their support, we thank you. Both Nick and Dave have decided that as soon as we can get back to racing, they will pick one of the races and put on a Fan Appreciation Night and allow FREE GRANDSTAND ADMISSION to that race. Date TBA when we get our 2021 schedule finalized. Again, thank you for helping to keep this iconic facility alive! The SANTA MARIA RACEWAY & STADIUM805 NEED YOUR SUPPORT. Some residents of the new development next door are trying to get the county to place severe restrictions on sound and frequency of events at the facility. These restrictions would jeopardize the future of all events at the track. Since 1964, the track has not had any restrictions on sound, curfew, or types of events, or frequency of events. This could all change. The track is being accused of being a nuisance to the com...munity (or at least to the new homes built decades after the track was established). The County of San Luis Obispo is giving the public the opportunity to voice support for the track as they decide on whether to allow us to continue to operate. All you have to do is call the county and leave a one-minute to two-minute voicemail message. Its very simple. Call (805) 788-6638 They will ask you for the hearing date: (Nov.10th 1:30pm) They will ask you the agenda item number: (#18) They will need your name and spelling Then you can leave your message, We need your message in by Monday night in order to be entered into the record at the hearing on Tuesday afternoon. We are looking for fans, participants, and local businesses to let the county reps know the benefits to keeping our track viable and available to the public. Update: ALL EVENTS at the Santa Maria Raceway and Stadium805 will be cancelled through the end of April due to the Coronavirus outbreak. This includes races, concerts, and kart nights. We are continuing to monitor the situation and will constantly re-assess the closure in consultation with state and local authorities. While we want to get back in business as soon as possible the safety of our fans, artists, and race teams is our highest priority. Hopefully if everyone follows the guidelines of the CDC this outbreak can slow enough to get back in action as soon as this Summer. If that happens we will work to continue the season as scheduled. So please be safe and smart. We thank you for your understanding.

Unfortunately, The World of Outlaws event for Sunday, March 29th has been postponed. They are postponing all of their events through the beginning of April. Over the next couple of weeks we will be working with the Outlaws on rescheduling the race for later this season. Current ticket holders will be able to use their current tickets for the rescheduled event. If the event is actually cancelled, then ticket holders will get an email from the Outlaws explaining the refund procedure. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. After over twenty years the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Cars return to the Santa Maria Raceway at the new Stadium805. For years race fans have been asking for a return of the premiere winged 410 sprint series to SMR. Well, after a couple years of hard work and renovations to our facility the World of Outlaws will be bringing their stars to the Central Coast on Sunday, March 29th for a night of open wheel action that is second to none!
