Black lives matter pride march in Oxnard 6.26.20 Now more than ever solidarity is needed, it is important we hold space not only for our Black siblings but also our queer/trans/nonbinary Black siblings murdered by the hands of hatred and racism. Remember Stonewall was a riot against Police Brutality led by Trans Black Women and Trans Women of Color that created the PRIDE events we are now familiar with. This year we are going old school.... We will meet at Wilson park and march to Plaza Park where there will be speakers, poets, musicians, and more. Social Distancing and masks are strongly enforced! Black Lives Matter Pride gear/posters/signs/flags etc are encouraged. Local LGBTQ+ collectives/organizations are invited to speak as well. ASL interpreter will be available QTBIPOC FOLKS are highly encouraged to speak and/or perform DM or email [email protected] Make a donation if you can VENMO: getloudmovement or PayPal: [email protected] for us to provide water, food, masks etc for attendees. Volunteer Team needed for this - email [email protected].
