My dad doesn’t talk much nor shows his emotions, he likes listening to what mom and I have to say. Ever since I moved to the States, he never once said he missed me. Hi, it’s Anh @dumpli.ng again with this week’s #ATicketToChildhood C gà Whenever dad and I went to our hometown in Kin Thu, we often collected a lot of c gà (thin stalks of grass with a bulbous head/a type of Bermuda grass) to play with. It’s one of the Vietnamese traditional games where we fight each other’s grass until one grass’s head gets broken off. P/S: Bermuda grass is the closest translation I can find for c gà. I’m not 100% sure if it’s accurate.... #childhood #dad #nostalgia #bermudagrass

Growing up in the Bay Area meant many days roaming around San Francisco, seeing the bridges, visiting the piers, and walking up and down approximately 2034983093 hills. But this also meant getting caught in the chaos of all the overcrowded tourist spots that SF has to offer. So with that, we’re visiting Pier 39 and the many magical things you can see as a tourist! . Visiting the crowds of seals at the dock of the piers is just one of the many fun things you can find yourself doing if you plan a trip to San Francisco. Tourist’s love hauling along their selfie sticks and posing in front of these cute sea creatures, but maybe, we’re not the only tourists posing for these selfies? Magic does funny little things, but when you look closely, you can easily find that Pier 39 isn’t only a tourist trap for us regular, shmegular humans.

Hey everyone! It’s @jsmn_draws again and here’s a new comic for #CompletelyConfirmedConspiracies! . So.. the reasoning for this week’s comic? I simply wanted a chance to draw my grumpy, old cat ... . Theories of soulmates usually get the weird rep of being overly romanticized and cliche as all heck. Be it it’s portrayal in rom-com movies or chocolate companies during Valentine’s Day, people love to use the soulmate shtick to keep love in the air. But what if soulmates were more than just your romantic partners, maybe it’s the things we like to do, the interests we have, our pets, our friends, and.... rock collections? . Farquaad is a squat lil’ sprite with dreams of conquest . To become king, he must marry a princess. So, he sends Shrek to run out and rescue his bride-to-be, Fiona. Now, we see Lord Farquaad preparing himself for his big day of total and absolute dictatorship sponge bath and all. What he lacks in height, he... makes up for in megalomania! . Shrek is possibly the besT Dreamworks property, and no one can disagree with me. I guess you can, but that’s a hill I’m willing to die on. With an arrow ready and notched in their bow, we have our ninth sign Sagittarius! This final fire sign rounds out our first elemental trio. Dad was always there for me, running his fingers through my hair until I fell asleep. ... I’m now 20... still scared of ghosts, and 7625 miles away from home, away from that comfort I used to have.
