Hello everyone, I hope you are thriving and feel supported during SiP. I'm back in the clinic seeing patients at a limited capacity during COVID. Among many other safety precautions, I am seeing only one patient at a time with no one else allowed in the clinic during your treatment and there will also be a 15 minute disinfecting and airing out time after every treatment. As a result, there is limited availability for now. My hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:00 to 7:00.... Appointments can be made as usual. All patients returning to the clinic will be asked to read and sign a COVID Agreement, which details the lengths I am taking to keep everyone healthy and safe as well as what I expect from all visitors of the clinic. If you have any questions, concerns, recommendations, I am always available. Just send me a text, DM, or email. Warm Regards, Brenda

Endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) are not only in cleaning supplies, lotions, and makeup, just to name a few, but also in pads, tampons and many other feminine hygiene products. What's particularly troubling about that is the level of absorption of EDCs though our mucosal membranes. Knowledge is power. Buy organic cotton tampons and pads or use menstruation cups when possible. It's always good to be aware of the chemicals we may be exposing ourselves to. EDCs are linked to increase cancer risk, lower fertility, disrupted menstruation, early menopause, early menarche, among other health concerns. When ever possible, purchase products that are organic, fragrance free, and that have few ingredients.

Hello everyone, I hope you are feeling well and have had the time and resources to prepare for this COVID-19 pandemic. To that end, I have to temporarily close my clinic until April 7th or until I receive further notice. If you have any flu-like symptoms and/or trouble breathing, it's recommended you call your primary care provider or hospital nurse line. They will do an over-the-phone COVID-19 screening and tell you whether or not you should get tested. Please stay at home ...and self-isolate to the best of your abilities. I especially advise you to avoid spending time with those over 60 years old- they are the most in danger of complications from this infection. Although my physical doors are shut for the time, my virtual doors remain open. I AM HERE FOR YOU. I am available for virtual appointments, drop-ship herbal and supplement prescriptions, and corrective exercise prescriptions. To make a virtual appointment, just reach out to me as you typically do. We are in this together. Please, be kind to your neighbors, offer to help when and where you can, get some sunshine, drink plenty of water, work on your next Great American Novel while you have this downtime, and laugh- it's the best medicine. To your health, Brenda

Sometimes we have to reevaulate how we feel about our pain and understand that the pain itself will not do our bodies harm. https://www.nytimes.com//16/opin/sunday/pain-opioids.html
