Yesterday, San Francisco Fire Department Firefighter/Paramedic Jason Cortez tragically lost his life in the line of duty. Our deepest sympathies are with Jason’s family, friends, coworkers, the San Francisco Fire Department and San Francisco Firefighters Local 798.
Saturday afternoon South Placer Fire, Penryn Fire, Rocklin Firefighters, American Medical Response, California Highway Patrol, and Placer County Sheriff's Office responded to a single vehicle accident on Eastbound I80 between King Rd and Penryn Rd. Two patients were transport to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment.
Sheila Lee of Soroptimist Loomis Basin presented South Placer Fire District with a portrait she painted for Station 18 to show her appreciation for the work we do. Thank you so much Sheila, it will look amazing in our fire station.
