79th ANNUAL LION’S CLUB STUDENT SPEAKER CONTEST IS HERE! Every year, the Lion’s Club Student Speakers Contest is one of the highlights of the Lion’s Club efforts to involve, educate, and engage students in community service. The 79th Annual Student Speakers Contest will allow students to speak on a topic: Liberty and Justice for All" -- What does it mean to you? In a 5 to 10 minute speech, students will have the opportunity to tell us what liberty and justice means to them.... The Cal State Fullerton Lions Club is seeking 5 high school students to participate in this year’s Student Speaker Contest. We look forward to hearing their thoughts on liberty and justice for all! The contest winner will be awarded a $100 cash prize and earn the opportunity to participate in the next level of the competition at the Zone Contest and the Region Contest. Now accepting participants to draw Lions International Peace Poster Contest Topic: SAVE PEACE Art is due on Nov 13, 2015 Contact: Lion Jordan Carey 714- 231-9156... Contest is open to students who will be 11, 12 or 13 years of age on November 15, 2015 Artwork must be no smaller than 13 inches by 20 inches (33 centimeters by 50 centimeters) and no larger than 20 inches by 24 inches (50 centimeters by 60 centimeters). Do not mat or frame artwork. Only one entry per student per year, and each entry must be the work of only one student. All artwork must be the individual student's original creation. Duplications are not accepted. All media are accepted. Note: Chalk, charcoal and pastel entries should be sealed with a fixative spray to prevent smearing. Do not laminate entries. The use of lettering or numbering on the front of the poster, in any language, is not allowed.
