On the second day of kindness, we would like to wish Sole’ (So-Lay) a very happy 15th Birthday! Sole’ and her family are long time locals in South Lake Tahoe. H...er parents, Sharon and Gino own G-Pro Construction, but have been unable to work because of their recent exposure to COVID-19 after her great grandfather was admitted to Barton Hospital. We hope this surprise brings some happiness and normalcy on your birthday! The veterans on our team serve some recognition today. These leaders serve on our breacher, entry and sniper teams within SWAT. They set the bar high and continue to deliver every training and mission. Thank you for all you do for our team and our community. Always beside you

K9 Tara was a loved member of the SWAT Team for many years. She will be missed. We are grateful for her, her handler, and the safety and love they have provided us. Rest in Peace, Tara.

Thank you to the residents of the Bijou area while SWAT apprehended a felony domestic violence suspect. Everyone is safe with no force used. Shout out to Crisis Negotiators for handling communications with the suspect who had barricaded himself in an apartment.
