Herbs for Stress and Resilience in Apocalyptic Times. Tuesday September 22nd, 6:30-8PM Fundraiser for St James Infirmary and BAHRT... $15-$30 suggested, NOTAFLOF. All funds raised will be split between St James Infirmary and BAHRT, directly funding free herbal medicines for Bay Area communities. As we move through these remarkable times, while also carrying ancestral trauma and ancestral learning, we have all adapted mechanisms to maintain resilience when in the face of stress. In this workshop we will explore our stress responses and work to shift ones that do not continue to support our wellbeing. We will cover plant medicines for nervous system support; for specific physical, spiritual, and emotional manifestations of stress, anxiety, and depression; for protection and for healing underlying trauma and other root causes of imbalance. About the teachers: Kara Sigler is a genderqueer white anglo-Ashkenazi femme who works as a Registered Herbalist and a Nurse Practitioner on Chochenyo Ohlone territory of the San Francisco Bay Area and foothills Mi Wuk land of the California Sierra Nevadas. Kara has worked with herbs and clients for over 15 years, teaching classes at many local herb schools including Ancestral Apothecary and the California School of Herbal Studies. Find Kara online at www.sfherbalist.com Emiliano Lemus (they/them) is a clinical energetic herbalist working on Chochenyo Ohlone territory, trained by Karyn Sanders and Sarah Holmes at the Blue Otter School of Herbal Medicine. !!E-VICTION!! A Virtual Arthouse Whore Gallery Live at noon on Friday, August 21st; 12 hours E-Viction: An Art Show, Cam Show & Digital Protest https://e-victi...on.net/ E-Viction is the brainchild of Niko Flux, Sybil Fury and Empress Wu - a virtual arthouse whore gallery in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Alert!!! Censorship at Instagram!!! Instagram has been directly and stringently targeting our account since we launched our campaign a few weeks ago. This censorship is a part of E-Viction, as is our response. In the face of censorship, people in our industry devise creative strategies for not only circumventing it, but eroticizing it. This, we believe, is a political act. To read our statement on censorship, click here: https://e-viction.net/Press" "Invite your friends, your paramours, your play things, your clients, your second cousin who thinks they’re woke. Anyone who could use a night of radical titillation." "Plan to meet your dates in one of our dozens of rooms, chat areas, or cruising locales. And, most importantly, get those CashApps ready." "This lineup is enough to bring you to your knees. Let cherubirl treat you right as the ultimate enby girl/boyfriend experience. Lilith will be invoking the Satanic forces that lie beyond and Stasia Levone will be unleashing her inner clown. Empress Wu is inviting you to take a journey through digital textual intimacy while Messy Darla will be getting, well, very messy. " For more information on our performers, check out https://e-viction.net/performers If you haven’t already, be sure to RSVP https://www.eventbrite.com/e/e-viction-a-virtual-art-showpr and donate to our Indiegogo campaign https://www.indiegogo.com//e-viction-an-art-show-cam-show- to support the work. "We will be sending out instructions on how to use the platform on Friday morning, so make sure to check your emails then. We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on."
