Judge Banks in Orange County has a sign behind the bench that states something like "it's ok to go to trial." Reason being is that most attorneys and litigants fear the system, worry about outcomes, time, money, and equity. Having said all of that, as we prepare for a 5 day jury trial, starting Monday, April 9, 2012, we are so present to how much work, effort, money, and time trial prepartion takes, that it is well understood, why the system is feared. However, the reward of justice and fairness for our clients is worth it, as well as seeing the system applied and citizens making a differnce.

SLG APLC is also HIRING SUPPORT STAFF. Either in the legal community, or someone that has had administrative assistant experience - if you are that person or know someone that is - pass along our information and get their resumes to us ASAP.

Sometimes there is JUSTICE when no one is looking, no one is paying attention, and no one expects, the right to be wronged. Today is such a day here at SLG APLC.

Today is a crucial day for SLG and our 11 Plaintiffs. Often times litigation is driven or controlled by the use of experts, which are expensive and often times confusing. However, as the Plaintiffs have burden of proof, today is D day. Here goes "everything" our clients and SLG has been working towards for nearly a year.

Depositions are tough and long to defend. But it is much easier, when you have an amazing, truthful client, agreed to liability, and an insurance adjuster attending for possible settlement after. Love what SLG APLC gets to do for their clients. No greater feeling and justification for our way of being.
