For the past several months, the Nor Cal Fire Lawyers - Corey Danko Gibbs have been negotiating a plan to end the PG&E bankruptcy so that wildfire victims can be compensated. This evening we reached an agreement with PG&E to set up a trust fund in the amount of $13.5 billion, to be made available to satisfy the claims of wildfire victims, FEMA, and state governmental entities damaged by the 2015 Butte fire, the 2017 North Bay fires, and the 2018 Camp Fire. This is a substa...ntial increase in the offer of $8.4 billion contained in the plan PG&E proposed back in September.
