2:00 in the Valley and we're smoked out. Visibility so bad, we lost a student in the haze until he got down to about 3,000. He stood up the landing though! And a few folks had some fun.

Just a couple more. Thanks so much to John who drove down from Yosemite Valley to help us out with tandems this weekend. You saved us!

Someone had fun at SSJV today!

We put out the word we wanted to have a Halloween costume party this year, since Halloween falls on a Saturday. With regret, we have to retract that. This COVID-19 virus is kicking everyone's ass and in good conscience we cannot have a large party while it is still raging. Imagine how awful everyone would feel if one of your/our friends or family got sick a week or so after we had a party. Or if it helped to spread the disease - a party is not worth it. We will still be ...jumping on Halloween day. We're trying to line up a balloon, so we can offer balloon jumps in the morning. (More to come on that) We will all be wearing our masks and social distancing. Let's be safe, have fun and stay healthy. Halloween will be on a Sunday next year, so who knows what can happen then?!
