My number one goal is to keep you safe. My second is to keep you healthy. As much as I would love to host more in-person sessions and classes, doing my training virtually is best for everyone at the moment. I have no doubt that the world will get healthier and stronger (given time), but for the moment, let’s continue to take DEEP, cleansing breaths, and trust I’m still here for you. Give me a call at 818-620-1442 or visit my website to schedule a virtual assessment and training. #seniorfitness #virtualTraining #Covid19

Arthritis- which foods are beneficial? Lower your inflammation to reduce joint pain, improve physical function and improved mood. -The diet with the most evidence is the Mediterranean diet. Eating or not eating certain foods can lower your inflammation. -Chemicals found in certain foods such as added sugar make it worse. -Limiting foods high in saturated fat and replace them with fatty fish such as salmon or consume healthy oils such as olive oil will help. ... research also indicates that bacteria and microbes in the gut play a role in inflammatory processes. Eat more high in fiber foods like fruits and vegetables that may help to build microbes that are less inclined to encourage inflammation. Source: Heidi Turner, registered dietitian See more

Here’s a question to consider whether you’re an entrepreneurial or not. Is your motivation dwindling? If so don’t beat yourself up there’s nothing wrong with you. - Dan Cable,a professor of organizational behavior at London Business School, believes motivation grows when people satisfy their natural seeking instinct to learn, experience, experiment and explore. Motivation is just another primal emotion people feel when chemical reactions in their brains produce dopamine.... I just made a suggestion to a new client who’s been walking 3 miles a day at the same pace and now is willing to change up her routine so she’s doing more interval walking. I suggested she keep a journal of her activity because she said her goal is to walk 3 miles each day. I applaud her but that’s a hefty goal. She said she loves the feeling it gives her. Who am I to say she shouldn’t do it but, buyer beware. it could possibly do more harm than good. A good balance between every day and five days a week might be best. See more
