We can not thank our community enough for your help with this project! We put out the request for gently used clothing for our "Fill the Truck" event and the response was overwhelmingly positive! We received enough donations to fill TWO trucks! The staff who picked up said they had never received so many donations at one time! The Simi Valley Days Foundation is happy to have assisted Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission in providing much needed resources.

Rock N Roll Cafe will have the grill fired up on Saturday, November 21st, at our Holiday Market! Enjoy a delicious burger or hot dog before shopping the more than 50 Vendors who will be joining us!

We will have a few of these items for sale at Babies R Us after the CAR-ONA Cruise on Saturday October 10th! All proceeds benefit the 805 Strong Scholarship Fund. T-shirts are $25 and cups are $30. Organizers from Simi Valley along with the Ventura County Sheriffs Department have put this special cruise together in honor of the Borderline 12, who lost their lives on November 7, 2018. The Porsche #Hero911 that was dedicated to Sgt. Ron Helus will lead the drive. Karen Helus will be riding in one of the patrol cars in her husband's memory.

This past weekend the Simi Valley Days Foundation took our Virtual Yard Sale and made it LIVE! We can not thank the community enough for the large amount of support we received. The overwhelming number of donations we were given and our wonderful shoppers have made a huge difference! With everyone's help, we have raised over $1200! Ever wonder what 1200 notebooks looks like? ;) The Simi Valley Days Foundation, and Adventist Health, are working together to bring school supplies to the kids within the Simi Valley Unified School District. Even with distanced learning, items are needed to help kids navigate this untraditional school year. We hope to help, even just a little bit :)

This is a hard post to make. Just know this decision was not easy. Thank you City of Simi Valley and Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District for working with us on this and for the many years you both have contributed to this event.
