Simi Valley Health and Fitness Challenge

It was great to see you all yesterday at weigh-ins!!! A couple of things to remember... -You have to eat ENOUGH to lose weight! -People who eat protein for breakfast burn 65% more calories all day. -Diets don't make you lose weight. they make you FAT. Please DO NOT DIET!! This is a LIFESTYLE change. If you diet, you will mess up your metabolism and then it will be even harder to lose the weight. Eat REAL food!! The closer to nature, the better off you will be!!... -Teams that work together towards the common goal of losing weight and supporting each other are the ones that end up the biggest winners. Not just the $$$ but in the experience. Help each other out and work toghether and you will see what happens!! There was some really great weight loss these last 2 weeks. Keep up the good work!! If you need us, we are here for you....

Happy Sunday Challengers!! I am sorry for not communitcating this week...I have been a little under the weather:( It was great to see you all last Monday for weigh-ins. We are really excited about the next 13-weeks. It is so exciting to see the changes that happen to all of you as we go through the challenge!! We are still registering teams. If you know anyone who is interested, we will be registering until next Monday, January 23rd, 2012, which is our next weigh-in. The fee is $85 per person or $75 if you have a coupon. Cardio Barre Simi Valley will be hosting the 4th Annual "Girls Night Out" event, this Friday, December 2nd, 2011, from 7-10pm. We will have many wonderful vendors, great food and drinks, and AMAZING company :) This is a really fun event, so tell your friends, put on your pretty clothes (and shoes of course), and come on out for a fun evening. The Austin Munoz Rummage Sale will be taking place this Saturday, November 19th, from 3pm-6pm, at Cardio Barre Simi Valley. 100 % OF ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO DIRECTLY TO AUSTIN'S MEDICAL BILLS!! We have collected an amazing amount of really beautiful stuff, including designer clothes, shoes, kids clothes, books, toys, luggage and some gorgeous furniture, and more... Please tell all your friends and relatives. We will be selling stuff at very reasonable prices! I am looking for ...anyone who can help us bring the stuff from the storage units to Cardio Barre on Saturday at about 11am. If you have a big truck and you want to help we would REALLY appreciate it! Also, we can use some tables and some hangers if anyone has those as well.
