Meet Yvette Roman, creator of How to make a Mini Piñata tutorial for Calaveras and Diablitos Activity Guide. Yvette Roman is a multinational artist, curator, instructor and founder of ArteDomus. Raised in Tijuana and San Diego, Yvette holds degrees from UCSD in Visual Arts and Cultural Anthropology. She is passionate about making art accessible through community-organized collaboration. She practices a variety of mediums including photography, film, painting, and collage. Due to COVID-19, the traditional festivities at SHCC... has gone mostly digital but they still have many beautifully decorated altars on-site to honor our deceased loved ones.
