Govardhan Puja Festival, November 15, 2020 Dear Devotees, Please accept my humble obeisance’s. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! Lord Krishna on this day lifts the entire Govardhan Hill on his little finger to save the residents of Vrindavan from devastating rains. In remembrance of this day, devotees prepare Chappan bhog and offer to Lord Krishna in the form of Govardhan Hill.... The schedule will be as follows: 12:30-1:00 pm: Govardhan puja and circumambulation 1:00 pm-1:30 pm: Reading from Krishna book by Srila Prabhupada 1:30 pm: Prasadam Feast For everyone’s safety, we will allow a group of only six devotees at a time to circumambulate the Hill three times and then we will have another group of six devotees who will circumambulate the Hill and so on until everyone has an opportunity to circumambulate the Hill. We will be following the guidelines of the local public health officials. We are allowed to have lunch outside of the temple. We will have tables and chairs set up. The donation per person is $51.00. This donation will be utilized to cover our property tax bill of $5000. However, we will appreciate anyone who would like to make a generous donation toward this property tax bill. Please let us know for certain by Sunday, Nov 8th whether you are coming because we may have to rent tables and chairs. Space is limited by the guidelines of the public health department so please make your reservation early. As a token of our appreciation for your donation, we will be providing you with a BBT art calendar 2021 free. Please contact me by phone or email.
