Hello to all our friends. In response to the current COVID-19 recommendations by Governer Newsom we will closing our Carmel-by-the-Sea Tasting room for wine tastings. We are considering minimal weekend hours for people to pick up wine club shipments and purchase extra wine. We will keep you posted on this as well as a re-opening. With great sadness we advise you that Ken Gallegos, founding member and former winemaker at Shale Canyon Winery, passed away on February 18. As winemaker, Ken was hands-on/arms-in on 2008-2016 vintages. Each vintage and varietal were exemplary of his craft and careful attention to detail.
