San Francisco Dojo had our holiday get-together last night with old friends from Spain and Germany joining us, too. We wish all members of our Shotokan Karate family a happy holiday! Stay safe, and we'll hopefully see you soon!

We have decided to suspend practices at the San Francisco Dojo until further notice due to the coronavirus outbreak. We encourage everyone to keep practicing regularly at home. Stay safe, everyone!

A wonderful weekend of practices focusing on women (self defense, jiyu kumite and women's practice) led by some of SKA's top seniors. 6 of us made it from San Francisco Dojo. A great weekend of learning, bonding and lots of laughs.

3 of us from San Francisco attended an amazing weekend at SOD for the Black Belt Convention and practice with John Teramoto. Great camaraderie from black belts across the nation, and spending time with Ohshima Sensei was priceless. A number of people in this photo have been practicing over 40-50 years. Extraordinary!
