We are so happy to have such a busy spring at Seducente Ranch & Vineyard ! We are excited to welcome gaited horse trainer Gaye DeRusso. Gaye recently moved to EDC from the Bay Area. She is the owner and trainer of The Majestic Rider. She grew up riding hunters and jumpers-receiving training from both Peter Van Guysling and George Morris! After becoming a Physician's Assistant and moving to California in 2000 from the East Coast, she fell in love with gaited horses. Not only f...or their smooth gait and lovely rocking horse canter, but for their temperament which is sweet, kind and forgiving. The gaited horses provide a smooth ride for hours of enjoyment on the trail. They are very athletic and social horses who love being with their human. Using Natural Horsemanship techniques, Gaye can fix behavioral issues with any breed, but she loves working with gaited horses the most. She trains, sells and gives lessons on these smooth horses. She also has an intense passion for trail riding.
