Therapy looks a bit different with COVID... masks, 7 feet distance and/or virtual sessions. My youngest clients are 10-year-olds who I get to color with while we talk about the week... they each get their own pack of colored pencils (turned over as names are on the front). We talk, we color. They share their stories, frustrations, worries, and stresses... they create art and express which is so therapeutic! How about you? When my boys were little...they liked to get dirty! We’d go to the american river and they would spend hours digging in the dirt and getting so muddy! Now that they’re mostly grown I’m the one digging in the dirt...!! This weekend while the temperatures were well over 100 degrees I spent time in the garden digging in the dirt. Grateful that HOT yoga trained me to withstand California’s heatwave... my garden now has some new flowers and even better I am de-stressed &... energized by spending time outside doing my garden yoga. . .
